On October 14, the first Breezy Island store opened in Almaty, Kazakhstan, located within the Grand Park shopping center. This innovative store specializes in selling second-life gadgets, offering a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience like never before.
"Breezy! iSland in Almaty is the first store of this format in our chain. We're now even closer to our customers, ready to delight them with a wide range of products. The presentation of devices has become more comfortable. This format offers several advantages over traditional stores, primarily the ability to easily enter large shopping centers popular among buyers and in demand among tenants. Our showcases are prominently located, well-lit, and beautifully decorated, right amid the customer flow. We're on a growth trajectory! Soon, similar retail outlets will open in other countries where our company is represented. Our plans for network expansion are highly ambitious," said Iryna Halanina, Retail Sales Team Leader at Breezy.
The store offers a wide range of tested used gadgets, including both Apple and Android devices, accessories, and related services. Second-life gadgets are openly displayed, allowing visitors to evaluate their appearance and test their technical condition easily.
"The company is growing, developing, and exploring new, modern formats. These formats not only enable us to scale our success rapidly but also showcase the high quality of our devices. Every smartphone sold at Breezy undergoes more than 55 evaluation tests, allowing us to offer warranties of up to 12 months on our gadgets. With each innovation, we continue to grow as a company and as a business, reaching new heights," commented Alexander Pogrebniak, General Manager of Breezy Kazakhstan.
In the store, our staff can assist users in activating and configuring their gadgets, creating accounts, transferring data between devices, installing applications, connecting other devices, and even applying protective films or glass.
Moreover, we offer flexible payment options, including installment plans and loans for gadgets. Additionally, you can enjoy benefits through our Trade-in program, where you can trade in your old phone as payment towards your purchase. We aim to make high-quality equipment more accessible to our customers
"Breezy's aim is to inspire as many people as possible to give technology a second chance. To achieve this goal, we are crafting a completely new level of customer experience for those choosing second-life gadgets. We envision our stores as unique oases of sustainable electronics and conscious consumption within shopping centers," shared Andrii Kosar, General Manager of Breezy. "The store design, which we've meticulously developed for several months, aligns with this vision. Its minimalism, connection with nature, openness, and modernity – all contribute to directing the spotlight onto the 'main character': gadgets Breezy has transitioned from the second-hand to the second-life category. These devices not only match the functionality of new ones but also surpass them in terms of affordability and environmental friendliness."
To create a seamless customer experience, Breezy utilizes the latest AI-powered audience analytics. All the phones on display are connected to innovative software provided by DISPL, a global software vendor of AI-powered marketing automation solutions. These phones collect visitor data, including their gender, age, and emotions during interactions with the device. This data enables us to understand our audience's interests better and personalize our offerings.
"Breezy! iSland at Grand Park is not only the first store of this format in Kazakhstan but also within our entire network. We closely monitor customer reactions and analyze their preferences to refine this format to perfection. We aim to boost our online sales by expanding our retail network specializing in used gadgets. While it's still early to discuss results, we've already noticed a strong interest from shopping center visitors in our store's operations," said Ruslan Tomaschuk, Omnichannel Leader at Breezy.
