Now, enterprises across Europe—as well as customers in Ukraine, Moldova and Kazakhstan, and soon also in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Poland—can trade in Acer, Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo laptops. MSI, Gigabyte, Razer, Samsung, Microsoft, Honor and Huawei will also be accepted soon.

How it works

You can now trade in your laptop at any store in the Breezy partner network in Ukraine, Moldova and Kazakhstan—and very soon in other countries where the service is available. In the next quarter, an online version of the program for this category will become available. That means users will be able to evaluate laptops and benefit without leaving home.

The trade-in process for Windows laptops is similar to Breezy’s standard smartphone evaluation, familiar to its partners. No additional payment or an app instalation required. Instead, it uses AI-powered evaluation by photos. This approach is part of the Breezy Trade-in standard and minimizes the effort and responsibility for retail sales staff.

Who benefits from the service

Individual customers

Any buyer within Breezy’s official partner network who owns a Windows laptop they no longer need. Just bring the device to any of the 5,000+ stores where Breezy Trade-in is available. It will be assessed in 10 minutes, and the offered amount can be immediately used to purchase new equipment.

Businesses and organizations

Companies across Europe—as well as in Kazakhstan, Georgia and Azerbaijan—can upgrade their equipment or write off unused laptops from their balance sheets. The program is especially timely in light of Microsoft’s announcement that it will stop supporting Windows 10 in October 2025. Trade-in value can be used not only for similar devices but also to buy Apple products, smartphones, tablets or to receive payment directly.

Retailers and vendors

Businesses that sell Windows laptops can benefit from Trade-in by making equipment more affordable, encouraging more frequent upgrades and reducing their environmental footprint.

Breezy strives to strengthen its contribution to the sustainability of electronics and to reducing its negative environmental impact on nature. Expanding our Trade-in range by 10,000 models of Windows-based laptops will help make upgrading this category as mainstream as it is for smartphones.

Environmental impact

After the laptops are bought back, they will be restored at Breezy’s facilities and returned to the market—significantly reducing environmental impact.

According to ADEME, the lifecycle of one new laptop results in 178 kg of CO2 emissions and 192 cubic meters of water consumption. For a used laptop, those numbers drop to just 24 kg of CO2 and 6.5 cubic meters of water. Vendors shipped 253 million new laptops in 2024 (Counterpoint). If all of them are reused, the planet could avoid an additional 39 million tons of CO2 emissions.
