What you’ll be doing:

  • Handle day to day operations of the finance affairs of the Company  
  • Booking of monthly provisions  
  • Control of expenses  
  • Prepare and submit VAT declarations  
  • Organize the accounting processes and procedures in accordance with local regulations and corporate requirements related to the Company’s main business: online stores and merchandise trading (brand new, refurbished and used)  
  • Complete and submit monthly management accounts according to statutory and IFRS standards  
  • Conduct the annual audit of statutory financial statements  
  • Provide analyses requested by head office  
  • Draft annual budget  
  • Manage all treasury functions (cash flow inflows and outflows, bank needs etc.)  
  • Manage of the credit function (grant lines of credit, timely collection of receivables, control of problematic cases, etc.)  
  • Ensure that financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth
  • Continuous work on re-scaling the company – reducing EOF, improving efficiency  

We’re a great match if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any other related Finance field  
  • Relevant previous working experience in an accounting /finance role (5+ years)  
  • Excellent command of Polish and English language (oral and written)  
  • Good knowledge of local legislation and statutory requirements  
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills  
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines  
  • Energetic, highly motivated with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence  
  • Commercial and business awareness
