Category Manager

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan

• Formulate strategy for gadgets, smartphones, define assortment matrix, manage assortment life cycle; 
• Interact with suppliers in the assigned category in terms of assortment, prices, commercial terms; 
• Be responsible for analytics, market analysis, pricing, category sales management; 
• Ensure the growth of turnover of the assigned category; achieve the planned margin of the category; 
• Monitor category representation on the website and distribute merchandise to outlets in the network; 
• Manage inventory, ensure the availability of the required amount of goods in the company’s warehouse and optimal turnover rates (together with the central commercial team).

We are definitely in the same direction if you are: 

• 3+ years of еxperience in category management – smartphones, gadgets (preferably); 
• Experience in forming product matrices; 
• Experience in searching for new suppliers and successful introduction of new demanded goods into the assortment, purchases; 
• Know the basic principles of purchasing, retail sales, marketing, merchandising; 
• Know the basics of pricing, analyzing the main commercial indicators.
