What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead Breezy’s business across Kazakhstan and the Central Asia region.

We also consider candidates from other locations and provide relocation support.

• Lead commercial and operational performance across all business streams: Trade-In, Refurb, Retail and E-commerce — ensuring delivery of revenue, profit, and cost-efficiency KPIs.
• Oversee production and the full supply chain, including device intake, grading, refurbishment, packaging, logistics, and aftersales operations — maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and speed.
• Manage financial and operational discipline, ensuring robust budgeting, accurate forecasting, optimized working capital, and efficient cash conversion in compliance with Breezy Group reporting and governance standards.
• Prepare and defend annual budgets and strategic plans before Breezy HQ and the Board, aligning operational priorities with profitability and capitalization goals.
• Build and empower a strong team, ensuring clear accountability and synergy across Sales, Operations, Refurb, and Finance functions.
• Promote and uphold Breezy’s core values — Leadership, Synergy = One Team,ClientCentricity, Professionalism, and Responsibility — ensuring these principles guide all business decisions, internal culture, and partner relations.
• Represent Breezy Kazakhstan externally, participating in key industry exhibitions, trade conferences, and networking events to promote Breezy’s brand, partnerships, and circular economy mission in Kazakhstan and the Central Asia region.
• Foster innovation and data-driven excellence, supporting adoption of AI-based diagnostics, ERP automation, and digital reporting tools to enhance transparency and scalability.
• Maintain transparent and regular communication with Breezy HQ.

We’re a great match if you have:

• 7+ years of successful experience in a similar leadership role (General Manager / Country Manager / Regional Head) within the Consumer Electronics industry.
• Strong expertise in Kazakhstan regulations, tax legislation, and financial reporting standards
• Solid knowledge of management accounting (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet) and performance management
• Experience applying Lean principles, as well as strategic planning and project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
• Excellent negotiation and commercial skills, including short- and long-term procurement and sales planning
• Strong results orientation with high level of ownership and accountability
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams
• High level of stress resilience and ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, changing environments
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, data-driven approach to decision-making
• Independence and confidence in decision-making, with a proactive mindset
• Understanding of marketing fundamentals and local consumer behavior in Kazakhstan / Central Asia
• Fluent in Russian
• Kazakh language is desirable
• English – upper-intermediate+.
