HONOR expands its participation in the Breezy Trade-in program

Customers in Kazakhstan can now enjoy additional benefits when trading in old devices for new HONOR MagicBook X series laptops.

Under the special offer, buyers who trade in a laptop for an HONOR MagicBook X Series model at the brand’s official retail partners in Kazakhstan can receive an extra bonus of up to 20,000 tenge. The benefit is calculated automatically — requiring no extra actions from either the customer or store staff. Customers may trade in an unlimited number of devices and cover up to 99% of the cost of any HONOR MagicBook X series laptop.

The main mission of HONOR, as a global technology brand, is to make advanced technologies available to everyone. The program for exchanging old devices for new MagicBook X Series laptops is one step toward that goal. Trade-in is not just a profitable way to update an old device, but a unique opportunity to gain access to innovative and technically advanced equipment for work and study

Since 2024, HONOR has also offered extra trade-in benefits for smartphones. Its latest expansion into laptops follows Breezy’s July 2025 update, which added 10,000 Windows laptop models to its eligible device list.

The laptop trade-in process is just as simple as Breezy’s smartphone evaluation, already familiar to retail partners. No app installation or advance payment is required: devices are assessed using AI-powered evaluation by photos, part of Breezy’s standard approach that minimizes effort and responsibility for sales staff.

For Apple MacBooks, Breezy integrates Apple’s automatic diagnostic tool, which delivers a fast and highly accurate technical assessment. Breezy introduced this solution in July 2025, becoming the first Trade-in provider in Europe to offer it to partners.

The Breezy Trade-in solution also gives vendors and retailers the option to add their own promotional top-ups to stimulate sales of selected products. These offers are applied automatically across all channels and locations where the campaign runs

Environmental impact

Once traded in, laptops are refurbished at Breezy facilities and returned to the market — dramatically reducing environmental harm.

According to ADEME, the lifecycle of a new laptop generates 178 kg of CO2 emissions and consumes 192 cubic meters of water. For a refurbished laptop, the footprint is reduced to just 24 kg of CO2 and 6.5 cubic meters of water. In 2024 alone, vendors shipped 253 million new laptops worldwide (Counterpoint). If all of them are reused, the planet could avoid more than 39 million tons of CO2 emissions.
