“Opening new Breezy stores in Astana is part of our omnichannel sales development strategy, aimed at making modern technology more affordable to as many customers as possible. We continue to grow by entering new countries and expanding in regions with a strong presence. Many more openings are planned for this year, which we will announce soon,” commented Andrii Kosar, CEO of Breezy.

Although Breezy has long operated in Kazakhstan, its stores were previously concentrated only in Almaty, where five Breezy outlets were located.

“Now you can buy refurbished phones with confidence, as an international company like Breezy has opened a store in Astana,” wrote popular blogger Nursultan Kamzebayev on his account.

Within just one month, Breezy opened two retail outlets:

Both new stores offer a wide range of phones, tablets, and laptops, each undergoing 55 functionality tests at a service center and backed by up to a one-year warranty.

“Here you will find vary iPhone models: from the 8th to the 16th. And for Android fans, there’s an entire shelf of gadgets at very affordable prices,” said blogger Dana Melarit, describing the new stores’ offerings.

From the very first days of operation, the stores attracted large crowds. This was thanks not only to the buffet and an iPhone 15 giveaway but also to a vibrant advertising campaign launched to celebrate the openings.

On the busy streets of Astana, promotional teams with eye-catching posters attracted a lot of attention:

  • “Bought an iPhone for 500K? Could have gotten it for 250K!”
  • “Why pay more if you can show off for less?”
  • “An iPhone at the price of a Xiaomi? Only at Breezy!”
  • “Real men buy iPhones at Breezy, not on credit!”

“With this unconventional campaign, we aimed to draw Kazakhstanis’ attention to smart purchasing choices. There’s no value in overpaying for a device, especially given our products are fully functional and backed by a warranty of up to one year,” said Nargiz SurabaldinovaMarketing Team Leader at Breezy.

Local bloggers also captured the store openings on camera, impressed by the combination of high product quality and attractive prices:

“The store is so stylish — you can hardly believe it only sells used devices! Even many stores selling brand-new tech don’t have such modern interiors. Shopping here is a pleasure,” shared Aldiyar, one of the first customers at Breezy’s new Experience Center in Astana.

The opening was also covered by popular media pages that report on the most interesting and important events in the region:

“We set high standards for our retail — whether full-format experience centers or smaller iSlands. All are designed with customer convenience in mind, located in busy areas, with plenty of open display cases and experience zones where visitors can quickly discover product quality. And the crowds of customers from the first days are the best proof that this approach works,” shared Iryna Galanina, Retail Sales Team Leader at Breezy.

We’d love to show you detailed photos of our new stores — but for now, you’ll mostly see crowds of happy customers filling every free space!
